Justice And Protection Alliance
JustProtect.org is a Utah-based, tax-exempt nonprofit dedicated to helping hold accountable alleged perpetrators and organizations who allegedly traffic, exploit, and abuse children and vulnerable adults. We support survivor-backed legal cases, survivor advocacy, and public awareness efforts—while encouraging criminal accountability where the law allows.

Ruth Hackford-Peer
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR – Pro Bono Attorney
Ruth is a University of Utah SJ Quinney College of Law graduate (Order of the Coif) with experience clerking for a federal judge, working in private practice, and prosecuting financial crimes at the U.S. Attorney’s Office (District of Utah). With a prior career in higher education and nonprofit work—including public policy and victim-support volunteering—she brings both legal and operational leadership to JustProtect.org’s survivor protection programs.

Ron Jenson
DIRECTOR & PRESIDENT
Ron is a University of Utah graduate with a background in Finance and Management and has been a licensed insurance broker since 1978, specializing in risk management and transfer. Alongside his wife Pam, he has spent more than a decade supporting young adults transitioning out of difficult circumstances by providing stability, mentorship, and guidance—experience that informs his survivor-centered leadership at JustProtect.org.

Roger Hoole
DIRECTOR & SECRETARY – Pro Bono Attorney
Roger is a seasoned trial attorney (admitted 1987) with an “AV” Martindale-Hubbell rating and a litigation practice focused on child abuse, civil rights, wrongful death, discrimination, and employment matters. For over two decades, he has devoted significant pro bono time to representing survivors in abuse cases involving Warren Jeffs/FLDS and other extreme sects, and he helped found JustProtect.org to expand access to pro bono legal support for survivors.

Pam Jenson
DIRECTOR & TREASURER
Pam holds degrees in Family Studies and Education from the University of Utah and served for 25 years as a Work and Career Educator in Granite School District. For more than a decade, she has also supported young people as a Host Home provider, offering safety, stability, and a reliable support network during major life transitions. A world of possibilities.

Scott Howell
DIRECTOR
Former Utah Senate Minority Leader and board director. Scott brings public policy experience to support accountability, public education, and lawful reform.

Ron Barton
DIRECTOR
Former criminal investigator and board director. Ron brings investigative experience and practical insight into building credible, survivor-informed accountability efforts.

Our Story
Justice Protection Alliance is dedicated to safeguarding children from abuse and exploitation. Our programs focus on legal accountability for offenders, survivor advocacy, and raising awareness about child trafficking under the guise of religious practices. We support criminal prosecutions and work tirelessly to create safer environments where children can thrive free from harm. Through targeted initiatives, we hold perpetrators accountable and champion policies that protect vulnerable youth from ongoing abuse and trafficking.
